About usRegistered in Finland, Finn-Sino Culture, Education & Technology Exchange Association, abbreviated as Finn-Sino, is a non-political and non-profit official Association. Our objective is to enhance the cultural, educational and technological exchanges and cooperation between Finland and China. The Association aims to provide an operational platform for cooperation and a channel for information exchange. It also works to find development opportunities for its members as well as to share the information and resources with its members. The Association has established contacts and cooperation relations with government institutions, academic groups and enterprises in both Finland and China. It functions as an intermediary of these contacts and cooperation relations between the two countries. In order to promote the friendship and understandings between the Chinese and the Finnish people, the Association engages itself in organizing culture exchange activities, exhibitions, visits, and short-term training. |

OrganizationThe management of the Association is carried out by the executive committee. The committee shall also provide services to all the members of the association. The committee is composed of one chairman, 1-3 vice chairmen and one secretary in general. The chairman, vice chairmen and the secretary in general shall be elected by the members of the Association in the annual meeting that is arranged in March-May. The association also has separate projects team that report to the executive committee. The teams include Chinese movie week team, Tea team, Qigong team, Learn Chinese team and DVD management team. Teams can be established based on the needs of the association. MembershipThe association has two types of membership forms: individual and institutional. All individuals can join the organization and become active contributors to the Euro-China collaboration. Institutions are welcome to join the activities as supporting members. Members are entitled to the rights of voting, election and being elected. Institutional members act through their assigned representative. The executive committee of the association can also elect honorary members who have made special contributions to the Association. The association is a non-profit organization. All the money we will collect is for organizing association activities. All members can join the annual planning and have influence on the association's operation. The association requires its member to pay annual membership fee which is collected in the beginning of the year before the annual meeting.
