ActivitiesThe association has certain activities that are arranged in an annual basis and that form the foundation of the association. We welcome all ideas and suggestions of any new activity that supports our common goal of facilitating co-operation between Finland and China. Current activitiesChinese New Year Celebrations Every year the association organizes a Chinese New Year Celebration event for its members and all others who are interested in Chinese culture.
In 2010, the event was held on Thursday, February 11th at the University of Tampere.

Chinese Movie Weeks Finn-Sino organizes Chinese Movie Weeks in biggest Finnish cities during October-November. The movie week are arranged
in co-operation with Finnish film centers and and the China State Administration of Radio Film and Television (SARFT).

DVD Library Finn-Sino manages a large collection of Chinese DVDs including movies, TV programs, documentaries etc. The collection is available for all members at FutuVision group office in Pinninkatu 55, 33100 Tampere, Finland. There is a deposit payment for all users of the DVD collection. The DVDs can also be sent by post with extra charge. During 2011, a database of all the DVDs will be published on Finn-Sino web pages. |

Tea and Qigong seminars Finn-Sino arranges together with Radio86 seminars that combine two cornerstones of the Chinese culture: tea and qigong.
The evenings include an hour long qigong exercise and after that some tea tasting. It is possible to purchase tea and
tea ware from the Radio86 China Store after the event. In 2010, the seminars will be arranged on later accounced dates.
Members can also gather a group and ask for the seminar to be arranged on desired date.

Past activitiesChinese Culture festival The Finn-Sino Culture, Education and Technology Exchange Association has organized four Chinese culture festival events from 2004 to 2007. The events have offered a unique selection of Chinese culture including art, movies, dance, poetry and music in major Nordic cities.
